When twelve-year-old Reena's parents decide it's time for the family to leave the big city, Reena suggests they give coastal Maine a try. She never thought they'd agree. Reena also never thought she and her little brother, Luke, would spend their summer vacation with a cow - a moody, ornery, selfish beyond selfish, caked with mud cow named Zora - or the cow's eccentric owner, Mrs. Falala. But Reena soon learns that if she keeps her eyes and her heart open, life can be full of surprises.
